Domain names are registered on a first come, first served basis. However, if you register a domain name that is the trademark or company name of another company, you are looking for trouble.

For that reason, we recommend that you register only a name which you are sure is not in use by someone else. If you have the name registered as your company name and you are going for a .co.za registration, this should not be a problem. However, .com addresses should be well researched before you try to register them.
